Well Easter is coming soon, and for those who celebrate, Happy Easter!


As everyone knows, the deadline is drawing closer. Soon we will be able to read the final chapter of Harry Potter. And I for one am not sure that I'm ready for the ending. I mean I know that all great stories have an end, I just wish this one hadn't approached so soon.


On another note, I was reading someones Profile and I can't remember whos now, but they are a slash writer for Harry Potter, D/H is their favorite pairing. Anyways, if you read fanfiction, 9 times out of 10 it reads either Pre OOTP or Pre HBP or even Post OOTP or Post HBP.

She wrote that after book seven comes out, the stories will read Pre DH or Post DH.

Kinda cool, huh?

I just started a new community. I have a bad feeling that J K Rowling is going to kill Harry off at the end of book seven, so I started a support group. I don't know if I can make it till July, so here's hoping we can all hold on!

Hopefully everything works out in the end right?

WEll I can honestly say that this birthday was a lot better than my last one. I didn't end up crying for one. And my brother and sister really surprised the hell out of me. You see, right now they're having some financial troubles, so I'm working and everything I'm making I'm giving to them. That way it saves their house. The bad part is that Christmas is next week. I don't know for sure what we're going to get my neices for christmas. Even if its something small, it doesn't matter. It's the thought that counts right?


Well anyways, about me. I'm going to be buying a couple of cows sometime next month, while the bottom is still out on the prices for cows. I atleast want one, a Jersey that's pregnant. That way I get fresh cows milk and a baby calf when she delivers. And no it wouldn't bother me if she gave birth to a bull calf. Because then I could raise him for either beef or to stud.

My sister is getting a registered American Quarter Horse for Christmas. The Mare is pregnant and is due in February. We're hoping she'll have a filly, but it looks like she's going to have a colt.

Bah the horse is sixteen and a half hands high. She's got a huge muscle mass on her back. She could probably carry a couple thousand pounds without hurting herself!


My brother in law is going to be getting a new gun cabinet. He desperately needs one!

AS for me, I'd be happy with an ebook reader!

LoL that's what I'm going to buy myself for christmas anyways!

Chapter 8
Shangri-la

October 30th, 1984

It had been fifteen days since Sev had rescued Harry from the Dursleys. In all that time Harry had been getting better, but he still hadn't woke up. Even though the healers said that it would take time, Sev and the Mauraders were begining to lose hope. Day after day they spent with the little phoenix, hoping against hope that today would be the day he awoke.

Young Lord Malfoy remained by his friends side. Even the cheerful company of the house elves could not remove him for long. He kept his friend Harry company, knowing inside that Harry was simply healing and when he felt whole, he'd awaken. So he talked to him. Day after day he'd tell him stories of what he'd done and what he'd seen, never failing to remind Harry that it was a wonderful thing to be alive.

All and all it was a pretty somber group around his bedside that Harry awoke too. He blearily cleared his sleep crusted eyes and looked around in wonder. He didn't know where he was or who was beside him, but he knew that he was safe. A feeling of warmth and safety was imbued in his bones. 'The Dursley's aren't here.' he thought, glancing around the still sleeping occupants.

Needing to use the loo, he crept to the edge of the bed and slipped to the floor. 'If I'm lucky, I'll be back before they wake up.' gleefully he thought. Darting to the door, he was out of the room before anyone else was the wiser.

Entering the room, Dumbledore smiled gently at the picture he saw. Severus had fallen asleep in his chair, little Malfoy was sleeping in his arms. Sirius and Remus were crashed on the couch, one at either end. They're legs dangled off the ends of the couch.

Looking to the bed, he froze. It was empty.

"Where is Harry?" He asked loudly, forgetting about Draco in his haste.

"Whu?" Sev slurred, blinking to clear his eyes.

"Where is Harry?" Dumbledore asked again, becoming seriously agitated at the sight of the empty bed.

"He's right here." Remus stated, rubbing at this eyes furiously.

"No he's not. That's why I asked you where he was.

My little brother is such a big jerk! All I wanted to do today was spend a little time with him, but he's so wrapped up with his chick that he couldn't be bothered to spend anytime with me at all.

I know his money was tight, but he could have come over and watched a movie, or tv with me.

I mean really, how hard would that had been.

Ever since Momma died, we sort of depended on each other. And now it's like he doesn't have anytime to be with me.
